Dear Carey,

Thanks for all your work and dedication to the IGS, it has been great to
work together over so many years, your open mind and flexibility for our
needs over the years have allowed the IGS to evolve and adapt while
serving such a diverse community.

It has been extremely positive to be able to rely on the CDDIS under
your leadership, and we look forward to continuing that wonderful
collaboration with Pat at the helm, and with all the great people in
your organization.

We remain connected for the rest of the year even if you are only
part-time! All the best in your very well-deserved transition to the
next exciting chapter in your life.

Best regards,
Nacho

Therefore, as of February 01, I will hand over management of the CDDIS to Pat Michael, our current, experienced, and very capable, CDDIS Deputy Manager. I am confident that Pat will effectively lead CDDIS and work to maintain its excellent reputation in the national and international community as NASA’s archive of space geodetic data and products. Although I am not quite saying goodbye as I will continue working part-time at NASA for the next year, Pat will oversee CDDIS activities; please reach out to him and our support staff (support-cddis at earthdata.nasa.gov) with your questions.

Pat will continue the great work of the CDDIS and implement enhancements to further assist our expanding user community.
