I'm pleased to announce that NOAA's National Geodetic Survey (NGS) is
seeking candidates for the Supervisory Geodesist position of CORS Branch
Chief, within the Spatial Reference System Division. Applicants must be
U.S. Citizens and *the application period closes on Monday, November 25,
2019*.

The Continuously Operating Reference Stations (CORS) Branch Chief provides
daily management and supervision over the development and monitoring of
branch products and services, including the NOAA CORS Network and NGS' GPS
Orbit Analysis Center. The CORS Branch Chief is expected to exercise
extensive knowledge of the operational and research business of the branch
and be a leader in Global Positioning System (GPS) and/or Global Navigation
Satellite Systems (GNSS) for reference frame definition. This position has
considerable influence on the future of the National Spatial Reference
System and its definition, maintenance, and access through GNSS technology.

The position is located in NOAA/NGS headquarters in Silver Spring, MD and
the starting salary will be between $99,172.00 to $152,352.00 per year.
