[IGSMAIL-7781] Two Entry-Level geodetic surveying positions at the National Geodetic Survey (opens June 10) - Recent Graduates

Please find below a link to two upcoming job openings in the Field 
Operations Branch of the National Geodetic Survey, located at the 
Norfolk, VA office.  The position is for "recent graduates" (degree in 
the past 2 years, or 6 years for veterans).

Note that the title is "Cartographer", and this is a decades-old problem 
with our hiring office.  The *duties* are clearly that of a geodetic 
surveyor (all of our surveyors are titled "Cartographers").  This will 
include field and office responsibilities, covering GNSS campaigns, 
co-located site surveys, Aeronautical Survey Program support, CORS field 
support, tidal benchmark recovery/observation, special projects, 
geodetic data processing, and more based on the candidate's desires.
