[IGSMAIL-7381] CDDIS - Return to Service

All,

CDDIS returned web and ftp to service at 16:35 UTC, 1 December 2016.  Several items to keep in mind.

Give at least 24 hours for restoration of service to the level that you are accustomed.  Due to the large number of files received over the last 36 hours it could take upwards of 6 hours to fully process.

For the next 24 hours you may experience some SSL certificate errors with all the CDDIS hosted websites as the DNS catches up.

Address changes:

All the old CDDIS addresses for web and ftp services are currently redirected to the new IPs.  All scripts should continue to work as before and the transition should be transparent to you.  However, we strongly suggest you transition your scripts to use the new addresses listed as we cannot guarantee redirects for an infinite amount of time.

file upload:  https://depot.cddis.eosdis.nasa.gov  (site is IP locked to only allowed addresses)

https://lageos.cddis.eosdis.nasa.gov
