The CRCSI is committed to delivering a geodetic GNSS analysis capability. The position reports to the project's Technical Leader (TL). Ultimately the capability will include following services:

* Full, single and multi-frequency, multi-GNSS data (GALILEO, GPS, BEIDOU, GLONASS, QZSS, IRNSS) processing

* Delivering multi-GNSS regional orbits and clock products

* Delivering atmospheric products such as ionosphere and troposphere models

* Delivering uncalibrated signal biases (USDs)

*         Providing both real-time and batch-processing capability

* Delivering products to the IGS community

The role is based in Canberra ACT, Australia in Geoscience Australia (GA), Geodesy section within our project team.

Responsibilities include:

* Maintain, verify, validate and implement the software architecture

* Perform software prototype integration from unit level to global level

* Determine necessary interface requirements between real-time data streams, the caster, the computational kernel and the clients

* Implement and optimise the Network Transport RTCM via Internet Protocol (Ntrip) Standards for streaming GNSS data over the internet.

* Integrate software components between the clients, the caster and the servers that transfer the real-time data streams from a source to the caster

* Specify, implement and validate human machine interfaces (HMI)

* Support the TL in the software life cycle definitions, strategy, standards and definition of testing environments, changes to baseline procedures, design and acceptance reviews

* Implement concurrent versions and build systems to keep track of all work and all changes to the whole set of program units, modules, HMIs, subroutines etc...

* Monitor, and perform quality assurance of the coding standards
