[IGSMAIL-6986] Professor Tscherning passed away

We are sad to inform you that former Secretary General  of  IAG , Professor Carl  Christian Tscherning passed away early this morning (October 24th) in Copenhagen. Christian died of complications in connection with  intestinal problems. His death is a great loss to Danish and international geodesy.
