Dear IGS Colleagues:

We inform you that from 27-28 October 2014, we will hold the IDS workshop 2014 at Lake Constance, Germany, in conjunction with the OSTST 2014 and a SARAL Altika Workshop.
This will be an opportunity to broach issues and subjects of common interest to the GNSS and DORIS communities. We are particularly interested in synergies
with other geodetic techniques. We point out that GNSS receivers are colocated at many DORIS sites, and that the CNES/IGN are proceeding with
the deployment of the Regina network of GNSS receivers.

The format of the meeting will include the possibility of oral talks or posters.

The websites for registration and abstract submission for the upcoming OSTST meeting, SARAL AltiKa workshop and IDS workshop are now open:

         OSTST/Altika/IDS Registration: http://www.ostst-altimetry-2014.com/registration/

         OSTST/Altika/IDS Abstract submission: http://www.ostst-altimetry-2014.com/authors/

The deadline for submission of abstracts is June 23, and the deadline for registration to the 3 events is October 4 (before increase of registration fees).

As a reminder, the 3 events representing "New Frontiers of Altimetry" will be held in the Steigenberger Inselhotel situated on Lake Constance, in Germany, from 27 to 31 October 2014.

Logistical details will be soon available on the meeting website http://www.ostst-altimetry-2014.com (sections "Venue" and "Accommodation"):

The IDS workshop will provide a forum to review the progress in the DORIS technique and provide perspectives for the contributions of DORIS to GGOS.

IDS contributors are invited to submit a presentation (oral or poster) to the IDS workshop for presenting results in relation with topics such as:

    IDS processing for ITRF2013
Precise orbit modeling and Precise Orbit Determination
Network and constellation: status and evolution
    Use of DORIS in multi-technique solutions for the Terrestrial Reference Frame;
Applications in oceanography, atmospheric studies and geophysics
New DORIS missions, applications and products

We also welcome papers that describe the progress of the activities pertaining to the DORIS operational combination. POD modelling issues related to radiation pressure, atmospheric drag, geocenter motion model, tropospheric delay and mapping functions, and phase center corrections that affect the quality of the DORIS products and papers that review progress in these areas will be especially welcome. We also welcome papers that synergistically use DORIS data in combination with other geodetic techniques, including multi-technique combinations for the terrestrial reference frame.

DORIS being a dual-frequency radio technique, provides a means to sound the ionosphere, and we welcome papers that use or compare the DORIS measurements with models or to calibrate the performance of satellite radar altimeters or make other uses of these ionospheric data.

The Scientific Committee will draw up a programme and an agenda at a later stage, according to the submitted abstracts.

Scientific Committee:

Frank Lemoine (NASA/GSFC, USA)

    Guilhem Moreaux (CLS, France)
    Laurent Soudarin (CLS, France)
Petr Stepanek (Geodesy Observatory Pecný, Czech Republic)
    Daniela Thaller (BKG, Germany)
    Cédric Tourain (CNES, France)

Please contact the IDS Central Bureau if you have any questions:

    email: ids.central.bureau at ids-doris.org

We look forward to seeing you all there!

Best regards

Frank Lemoine
IDS Analysis Coordinator.
