Dear Colleagues:

The computer servers performing the IGS combinations experienced another
unplanned network outage. This outage began sometime after 06:20 (EDT)
and ended around 12:49 (EDT). The Ultra-rapid combination for 1783_6_12
was delayed and had only one AC. The Rapid combination for 1783_5 was not
delayed, but was missing several Analysis Center (AC) contributions. The
products for both combinations have been regenerated and resubmitted to
the IGS Global Data Centers. The timescale for the Rapid products was
updated with the resubmission. There was no interruption of service.

Fortunately, the roadblocks that prevented my intervention last weekend
have been lifted for the foreseeable future, and should no longer pose
a problem. However, this marks the third consecutive weekend where the
combination servers have unexpectedly lost internet connectivity. I have
no information about the cause of the network outages, but I suspect
maintenance at our offsite facility. Therefore, I am assuming it will
happen again tomorrow and perhaps the following weekends too. I will keep
a close eye on the products to ensure that there is no interruption to
service as the result of additional network outages.

Many thanks for your patience. And apologies for any inconvenience this
latest outage may have caused.

Best regards,
jake
