Dear colleagues,
between June 15 and 29, 2013, the first test transmission of CNAV
navigation messages on L2C- and L5-capable satellites has been conducted
by the GPS Directorate.
In a joint effort of the German Aerospace Center (DLR) and the
University of New Brunswick (UNB), CNAV data have been collected
throughout the entire campaign with five multi GNSS receivers in the US,
Canada, South Africa, Singapore, and Australia.
Within the frame of the IGS Multi-GNSS experiment the entire set is now
made available to interested users at the CDDIS data archives.
ftp://cddis.gsfc.nasa.gov/gnss/data/campaign/cnav/2013/06/
Details of the data set are described in the aaaReadme.txt file in the
above directory. The set comprises daily collections of raw binary CNAV
navigation frames, interpreted data listings and RINEX-sytle navigation
messages.
In addition to the individual files, a packed archive
ftp://cddis.gsfc.nasa.gov/gnss/data/campaign/cnav/2013/06/CNAV_TestData4IGS_June2013.zip
with a size of roughly 100 MB is made available to facilitate download
of the entire data.
Users of the data set are requested to share their analysis with the
scientific community and to give proper credits to the International
GNSS Service (IGS) and the MGEX project.
