Now that Curiosity has landed safely on Mars we have been cleared to proceed with our GPS Time Series web page upgrade.
Originally launched in November of 1994, this web page continues to provide results based on point positioning with JPL's GIPSY software.
Our goal is to provide GPS results accurate enough for science and accessible enough for educators and the public.
Improvements include:
Interactive Google map showing global velocity estimates
Tables of all fit parameters including positions, velocities, and breaks
FTP access to numerical time series and residuals after the fit is subtracted
Results based on JPL's most recent reprocessing of orbits and clocks
Point positioning with ambiguity resolution
Global realization of the IGS08 reference frame
Automatic weekly updates
Many people contributed to this effort:
Orbits: S. Desai, W. Bertiger, J. Gross, B. Haines, N. Harvey, C. Selle, A. Sibthorpe, J. Weiss
Point positioning: A. Moore, S. Owen
Post-processing and Web design: M. Heflin
