Dear Colleagues,

I have the pleasure to annonce and to draw your attention to the

                         IAG Commission 1 Symposium 2010 on
            Reference Frames for Applications in Geosciences (REFAG2010)
                                  October 4-8, 2010

The main topics of the Symposium include, but not limited to:

O   Theory and realization of reference systems;
O   Definition, establishment, maintenance and improvement of the
     geodetic reference frames for Earth science applications;
O   Advanced terrestrial and space observation technique development
     for the above purposes;
O   International collaboration for the definition and deployment of
     networks of terrestrially-based space geodetic observatories;
O   Co-locations of geodetic instruments on the ground and in space;
O   Definition, establishment, maintenance and integration of
     regional reference frames;
O   Interaction between the celestial and the terrestrial reference
     frames;
O   Usage and applications of reference frames in Geosciences.
