Subject: Extension of Registration and Abstract Submission Deadlines

Dear Colleagues -

Because of the summer holidays, the organizers of the Joint GGOS/IAU Workshop on Observing and Understanding Earth Rotation that will be held in Shanghai, China during 25-28 October 2010 have decided to extend the registration and abstract submission deadlines to 30 August 2010.

The workshop program covers all aspects of the Earth's rotation including theory, observation, analysis, and interpretation. With over 40 participants already registered, the workshop promises to be an exciting forum for discussing the current and future direction of Earth rotation research.
