Dear IGS colleagues,
Since we have received lots of requests for late submission, the paper
submission deadline was extended to December 15th. We hope that more papers
will be contributed to this special issue with this extension.
Papers are invited for a special topical issue of Advances in Space Research
(ISI journal) entitled "GNSS Remote Sensing: New Roles and Progresses".
Manuscripts on both scientific GNSS research results and technology/models
development issues are appropriate for this special publication.
Particularly new GNSS technology, theory, algorithm and models, GNSS
reflectometry/remote sensing capabilities and progresses for the
ice/snow/soil
moisture, ionospheric and atmospheric sounding, ocean surface
characteristics, GPS-seismometer and tsunami warning systems and integrated
approaches/results in synthesizing various remote-sensing measurements (GPS,
in-situ tide-gauge observations, SAR, scatterometry, satellite altimetry and
satellite gravimetry) are welcome as well as new GNSS receivers/systems
design and opportunities for future missions.
All the bests!
Shuanggen
