Author: Jim Ray (IERS Conventions Advisory Board)
Yesterday Gerard Petit posted an expanded version of IERS
Conventions Chaper 9. This chapter previously covered only
tropospheric propagation delays, but it is now expanded to
include ionospheric effects as well. So the title of the
chapter has been changed accordingly.

The new section 9.4 "Ionospheric models for radio techniques"
was written by M. Hernandez Pajares with contributions by
U. Hugentobler, F. Mercier, and others. It provides a rather
comprehensive summary of the effects over a wide range of
frequencies used for geodesy.
