Dear colleagues,

The International DORIS Service (IDS) workshop will be held on 
November 12-14, 2008,
in conjunction with the 2008 Ocean Surface Topography Science Team 
Meeting (OSTSTM).
The venue will be the Acropolis conference center in Nice, France.

For your reminder, here are information about the workshop.

First of all, please note the following deadlines

-Accomodation:
The list of the hotels where some rooms have been allocated to the 
congress participants is given

Each hotel has a deadline for booking. Beyond this date, hotels can 
use the rooms.
We strongly advise all participants to make the booking before these 
deadlines.
The very last deadline is September 15.

-Abstract submission:
The abstract submission deadline is September 26, 2008

-Registration:
Register before October 15, 2008 to get lower registration fees

Workshop's purpose:
The purpose of this workshop is to get representatives from all DORIS 
groups together to share
information about the network and data, products, to perform 
inter-comparisons, and to highlight
developments and scientific results in all aspects of DORIS. The 
meeting is a platform for
discussion and coordination of future activities.


Call for participation:
All IDS contributors are invited to submit an abstract to the IDS 
workshop for a poster or an oral presentation
in relation with topics such as:
    - System: satellites, network, system improvements, new data 
format, future missions
    - IDS: organization, analysis coordination, analysis centers, 
data centers and data flow
    - Geodesy, reference frame, Earth's rotation
    - Precise Orbit Determination
    - Geophysics, atmospheric sciences (troposphere and ionosphere)
    - New DORIS applications and products
    - Synergy and operation with other Geodetic Techniques

IDS Analysis Centers are especially encouraged to submit 
contributions describing the status
of their processing, plans for the preparation of the ITRF2008, as 
well as their current research
activities to improve their current results. Results of new 
scientific applications of DORIS
from external groups to IDS are also very welcome.

Click on 'New''
      * Fill all the required fields,
      * Click on 'OK'
      * Then your Personal Home Page appears on the screen confirming 
that you are now identified.
         You will receive a confirmation email with your personal access code.
         With this access code you can access to your Personal Home 
Page, register, submit an abstract.

2 - You can submit an abstract:

      * Go to the 'Registrations' page

      * At the bottom of this page, click on "Registration on-line"
      * You are now on the page
