Dear IGS colleagues,

A survey of CODE's RINEX database shows that still 20 of 105 GLONASS
tracking stations are unable to sample GLONASS zero and negative
frequency channels (5 GLONASS, namely R09, R11, R13, R15, R17):

An updated list of affected GNSS stations may be found at:

ftp://ftp.unibe.ch/aiub/igsdata/tracking_glo_neg_freq_not_ready.txt

We pointed to this tracking deficiency already in several IGS Mails
(5650, 5668, 5695):

http://igscb.jpl.nasa.gov/mail/igsmail/2007/msg00130.html
http://igscb.jpl.nasa.gov/mail/igsmail/2007/msg00148.html
http://igscb.jpl.nasa.gov/mail/igsmail/2008/msg00017.html

We ask the station operators responsible for the stations listed above
to upgrade the receiver firmware asap. From the list

ftp://ftp.unibe.ch/aiub/igsdata/tracking_glo_neg_freq.txt

we may conclude that the most recent GNSS receiver firmware versions
are:

2.6.1, 2.7.0 for JPS
6.00 for LEICA GRX1200GGPRO
3.30 (?) for NOV
3.3 for TPS
3.64 for TRIMBLE NETR5

It is worth mentioning that the following stations do not provide
GLONASS observations although they are equipped with GPS/GLONASS
receiver models:

cnmr: TRIMBLE NETR5 NP 3.50 / SP 0.00
gope: ASHTECH Z18 0065
guug: TRIMBLE NETR5 NP 3.50 / SP 0.00
mat1: ASHTECH Z18 0065
ntz1: TPS NETG3 3.2 DEC,12,2007

Best regards,

The CODE AC Team
