Dear IGS Colleagues,

Today 5 stations have been added to the IGS network:

MCIL in Ogasawara, Tokyo, Japan (Pacific Plate)
CCJM in Ogasawara, Tokyo, Japan (Phillipine Plate)
STK2 in Shintotsukawa, Hokkaido, Japan
AIRA in Aira, Kagoshima, Japan
TSK2 in Tsukuba, Ibaraki, Japan

Some details:
STK2, AIRA, and TSK2 have cesium frequency standards and will contribute to the
IGS timescale. They also are near VLBI, but there is no survey tie.

All except MCIL are operated at 1Hz real time.

TSK2 may be considered to replace TSKB eventually. The foundation is deeper (5m
instead of 1.5m) to avoid seasonal ground movement.

Daily data is appearing at the CDDIS DC. Hourly data for all except MCIL will
begin in the next few days.

All are operated by the Satellite Geodesy Division, Geodetic Observation Center,
of the Geographical Survey Institute (GSI), Japan.

Best regards,
Angie
