Over the weekend, hackers attempted to compromise several computers
in our division running a particular type of web statistics software.
Unfortunately, host cddisa.gsfc.nasa.gov was one of these computers.
Although we do not believe that our system was compromised in any way,
the security group at GSFC has blocked access to cddisa (as well as
several other computers) until an assessment can be made.

As was announced a few weeks ago, users can now access GPS, SLR, and
DORIS data, as well as the CDDIS website, on our operational server

        cddis.gsfc.nasa.gov

We encourage all users to start using this host as soon as possible
since we are unsure how long cddisa will be blocked. Unfortunately,
at this time, access to VLBI data and products is not yet
operational on cddis.gsfc.nasa.gov; we will work with the IVS
staff to see what can be done if the outage appears to be too long.

We regret the difficulties this problem will cause our users. If you
need to contact someone at the CDDIS, please send email to both
Carey Noll (Carey.Noll at nasa.gov) and Maury Dube
(mdube at pop900.gsfc.nasa.gov).

Regards,
Carey and Maury.
