The Mt Stromlo GPS station (STR1) that was destroyed by bushfires last
January has now been restored and operational.
Data is again available from day 311, 7th November.
The replacement antenna is the Ashtech, ASH701945C_M and is positioned =
on the
same monument with the only change being in height above ARP.
The replacement receiver is an ASHTECH UZ-12.
All changes are noted in the updated site log

The rebuilding of the Satellite Laser Ranging (SLR) station is well =
under way
and is expected to be operational again in early 2004.
