                    ==============================================

Dear colleagues,

Please save the date to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the
International GPS Service! This event promises to be a memorable and
significant meeting of the IGS global community and one you will
certainly want to attend. The meeting website is sponsored by the
University of Bern Local Organizing Committee and here you can find
information on the program, registration, venue, lodging, and more:

                            http://www.igsws2004.unibe.ch/index.html

In particular, please review the program which promises to bring
leading edge content with forward looking GNSS strategies, as well as
a succinct, sometimes nostalgic, sometimes humorous, overview of IGS
highlights from the first ten years.

Social events are planned during the week to meet with friends old
and new, and the beautiful city of Berne and the Alps can be explored
in your leisure time or over one of the adjoining weekends.

This event is hosted by the Astronomical Institute of the University
of Bern, Switzerland. Some of you may recall that In 1993 a pivotal
meeting was held in Bern that laid the framework for the current
organization of the IGS and so it seems very appropriate that Bern is
once again graciously offering to host this special event - the IGS
has not met in Bern since then. Many thanks to our Swiss colleagues
and members of the Local Organizing Committee for inviting us back!

On behalf of the IGS Governing Board, we extend very best regards and
look forward to meeting you in Bern next March,

      IGS Central Bureau
