SOPAC is in the process of updating all of its GPS satellite orbit
files and associated products with a new set recently computed
in the ITRF2000 reference frame.

The files that will be updated include:

- all files in ftp://garner.ucsd.edu/pub/combinations/
(weekly orbits, repeatabilities, positions, sinex files,
analysis summary files, earth orientation files, etc.)
- all gpgga?.???.Z and sio* files located in
  ftp://garner.ucsd.edu/pub/products/
- all gpgga?.???.Z files located in
  ftp://garner.ucsd.edu/pub/gfiles/

This update should be completed within the next few days. After which,
all the above-mentioned files (from GPS week 0576 to the present) will be
in a uniform ITRF2000 reference frame.

Orbit/analysis files produced by analysis centers other than SIO
which are archived here at SOPAC will NOT be affected by this update.

We will also be updating the position timeseries displayed on
the SOPAC website to reflect ITRF2000 positions. A listing of the
timeseries available for display is at:

http://sopac.ucsd.edu/scripts/dbTimeseries.cgi

Unfiltered timeseries will be available for all sites, including
those which are regionally filtered.

As a new service, we will begin to provide in ASCII format the position
timeseries of all the permanent GPS stations analyzed at SOPAC. These
will be published weekly on the SOPAC ftp archive at:

ftp://garner.ucsd.edu/pub/timeseries

Four tar files, each comprised of all available sites, may be downloaded
from the timeseries directory: raw xyz, raw neu, unfiltered neu, and
filtered neu. The (un)filtered neu tar files will also contain tables of
all offsets and outliers.

Best Regards,

SOPAC Analysis Staff
