Subject: New ESOC receiver connected to H-maser at New Norcia
Dear Colleagues,
A GPS system has been installed at New Norcia (NNOR) in the
facilities of the new ESA Deep Space Antenna located in Western
Australia.
The new marker is 50181M001 and holds a Z-XII receiver. Data
are downloaded on hourly basis and delivered to the data
centres. A set of precise coordinates are included in the
station information form.
A redundant H-Maser is available at the station and provides
the external frequency. The clock steering has been disabled
in the Z-XII as recommended in IGSmail 3071
