Symposium as part of the Celebration of 50 Years of Geodetic
Science at The Ohio State University:

"Weikko A. Heiskanen Symposium in Geodesy: Celebrating 50 years
of Geodetic Science at The Ohio State University, and A Look to the

The Symposium will be held on October 1-4, 2002, at the Ohio State
University campus, Columbus, Ohio, USA.  The Symposium is dedicated to
the memory of Professor William M. Kaula.

The Symposium is jointly sponsored by the International Association of
Geodesy (IAG), NASA, National Geodetic Survey (NGS), and others.

The Scientific Sessions include:

   Advances in Geodetic Adjustment and Representations
   Geodetic Instrumentation on Moving Platforms
   Geodesy: Tools for Interdisciplinary Science
