To the GPS community,

SOPAC would like to take the opportunity to announce a new subdirectory on
our public ftp archive (ftp://lox.ucsd.edu), "pub/nrtdata". The new
subdirectory is a 3 day sliding window of hourly RINEX files for the GPS
community, made possible by the generous participation of various
Operational Data Centers in the IGS.

Currently there are an average of 30 sites being provided to SOPAC on an
hourly basis (nav and obs included). It is our hope that this number will
grow to the point where our NRT service becomes a "mirror" of similar
services provided at CDDIS and BKG, to improve redundancy in the IGS in
the event of major archiving problems. Our staff will corresponding with
various ODCs to realize this goal.

At any rate, please feel free to address any suggestions, comments or
questions you may have about this service to (archive at sopac.ucsd.edu), or
myself directly.

Best regards,

Michael Scharber

SOPAC Archive Team
