Dear IGS community

A new IGS station RBAY, collocated with a tide gauge has been installed
at Richardsbay on the east coast of South Africa. Approximate
coordinates are:  
     
     Latitude (deg min) : - 28 47 44.10600
     Longitude (deg min) :  32  4 42.19680
     Elevation (m) : 34.2310

A logfile has been uploaded to the IGSCB. 

This station was made possible through collaboration with JPL, CNES, 
the University of Cape Town (Geomatics Dept), the SA Navy Hydrographer
and PORTNET. 

We are in the midst of installing another (Guy please note) station at a
tide gauge in Simonstown, close to Cape Town, in collaboration with JPL, NOAA,
the University of Cape Town (Geomatics Dept), the SA Navy Hydrographer
and the Institute of Maritime Technology in Simonstown.
