Dear Colleagues,
I am pleased to announce a new GPS station at San Clemente Island, CA.
The four character ID for the site is SCIP. SCIP became operational
on 21-JAN-1998.
An Ashtech Z-12 receiver running firmware version 1F50 and an Ashtech with
Dorne Margolin-type choke ring are utilized on-site. A Paroscientific MET3
package has also been installed.
The site log is available via ftp from:
ftp://lox.ucsd.edu/pub/docs/site_logs/scip.log
and from the web at:
http://lox.ucsd.edu
