Subject: MacQuarie Island antenna height

Mac1 was out of operation from late 94 till June 95.

On June 28 1995 a new antenna was installed and the
antenna height measured as 0.036 m. This measurement
was made to an incorrect point on the pillar.

On January 9 1996 this measurement error was detected,
and the height measured to the correct point on the
pillar. The correct measurement = 0.028 m.

The important issue here is that since it's recommissioning
in June 95 (day 95/180) the MacQuarie Island GPS antenna has
***********
*** NOT *** moved.
***********

Only the measurement of the antenna height has changed by
referring it to the correct physical reference mark on the
pillar. Both measurements were made to the ARP as shown in
the log file.

The log file at IGSCB now shows the measurement as 0.028 m.
