Subject: Brand Basin Station
Date: 15 December 1994
Site logs are now available for the Brand Basin (BRAN) station
installed by the USGS as part of the Los Angeles Basin densification
of the Southern California Integrated GPS Network (SCIGN). This station
replaces the now defunct Chatsworth (CHTP) station.
The Brand Basin station has been active since 30 November, with the
first full set of data collected on Dec. 1.
Data are downloaded and stored at the SIO archive in the same manner
as PGGA stations. Data from these sites are incorporated into the
daily analysis at SIO which includes IGS, SCIGN (PGGA/DGGA), and BARD stations.
Site logs for this and all other active SCIGN stations are available from:
(1) the Scripps Orbit and Permanent Array (SOPAC) Mosaic, accessible through
the SIO/IGPP Home Page:
http://jon.ucsd.edu/
by clicking in this order:

(2) The IGS Central Bureau at JPL, accessible through anonymous ftp:
