Subject:	GPS Global Network Advisory: New FLINN Site Installed
---------------------------------------------------------------------

A permanent GPS receiver has been installed at North Liberty, Iowa, as part of
the High Accuracy North American Fiducial Network, organized by Geoff Blewitt
(JPL) and Tom Clark (GSFC), where ultimately 10 GPS receivers will be
co-located with VLBA antennas.
The GPS monument was installed by Vaughn Nelson and Mark Bryant from
GSFC. A TurboRogue (Rogue SNR-8000) GPS receiver was installed on March 4,
1993, by Steve Dinardo (JPL) and data is now appearing regularly from the site
and should be available on the CDDIS. Some of the basic station information
follows below.
