Dear Oliver-san,
I apologize for not attending the MGWG meeting on last Friday and thanks a lot for providing meeting minutes so that we can follow up the discussion.
We checked it out and provide feedbacks to your requests as follows;
> - please have a look at the requests for adding midnight epochs as
> well as quaternions and optionally ERPs/SINEX files to your multi-GNSS
> products and let us know, whether you can accommodate these
> extensions. *

adding midnight epochs -> Our software, MADOCA, has already had this function.
quaternions -> Not yet implemented. We have a plan to do until the coming autumn (Sep. to Nov.) 2024.
ERPs/SINEX files -> We are providing.
In addition, we have almost implemented adding BDS-3 POD function to MADOCA and will move onto the evaluation of the product quality.
We will provide it including JAX product at latest august 2024.

We are willing to contribute to the activities for MGWG/PP, since we are recognizing WG/PP activities are very important for proceeding preparation for future multi-GNSS product including constellations which has not yet combined as OPS product.

We totally agree that Peter will succeed your position as WG/PP chair and recommend him to GB.
In addition, I am considering change JAXA's POC of MGWG from myself to Kyohei. Could you accept with this request and update mailing list for MGWG/PP?
Many thanks for your great efforts and strong leadership.
Best Regards,
Satoshi

Dear colleagues,
for your reference, please find attached a copy of the slides presented and discussed during today's meeting. It includes a couple of slides (labelled "Discussion") that were prepared online during the meeting and summarize the contributions of the various attendants to the joint discussion.
All MGEX ACs representatives that did not attend,
- please have a look at the requests for adding midnight epochs as well as quaternions and optionally ERPs/SINEX files to your multi-GNSS products and let us know, whether you can accommodate these extensions. *

Concerning the future of the MGWG/PP, the majority of participants encouraged a continuation of the group to serve as a platform for exploring and characterization of new systems and satellites. Also, a need for guidance of multi-GNSS aspects in the ongoing ACC transition and product consolidation for a transitional period was identified. In the absence of other volunteers, Peter Steigenberger offered to serve as the future MGWG/PP chair after my retirement to enable a continuation of the ongoing work. No decision has been taken, though, and I would like to encourage all members that could not attend today
- to please indicate their interest in chairing the WG, or otherwise
- to indicate their support for Peter to be proposed to the Governing Board as the new WG chair.
With best regards, Oliver
