The position The Geomatics unit of the University of Liege hires a teaching and research assistant for a period of 2 years starting on 15 September 2022. At the end of this 2-year period, the contract may be renewed 2 times for a period of 2 years (i.e. a total of 6 years). Research and teaching activities will each represent 50% of the activities. As part of the teaching activities, the assistant will be responsible for the practical work associated to the following courses: Introduction to geodesy (bachelor in geography) GNSS (master in geomatics and master in space sciences) GNSS data processing (master in geomatics and master in space sciences) GNSS project (master in geomatics) Regarding research activities, the assistant will carry out a doctoral thesis dedicated to the use of smartphone GNSS sensors for high-accuracy positioning.
