[IGS-DCWG-228] IC Chair selection

Dear all,

Last week I got the personal statement for the IC Chair position from 
one candidate; Markus Bradke, please find it enclosed. Most of us know 
Markus and I am sure he will do a great job as IC Chair if you find no 
objection to his selection.


Please use the email list or an email to me to state your support or 
concern for this candidate as Chair.


I have not organized any voting since its just one candidate and in the 
interest of expediency.


Until the next GB meeting that will ratify this appointment (if 
supported by you the members) Markus will be the "acting Chair" and I 
will resign as IC Chair immediately. I will remain as an IC ex-officio 
member as the RINEX WG Chair, and I will support the acting Chair as 
much or as little as he needs.


Sorry for leaving a number of issues and actions yet unresolved. It has 
been a tricky period, but together with Markus I can support in closing 
the open issues as needed.


So please let me know how you feel about this candidate for Chair, I 
fully support him and I am grateful to have such a high quality 
successor . Thanks to all for your time.
