[IGS-DCWG-112] Information for review before the teleconference on the IGS site log XML standard [SEC=UNCLASSIFIED]

Hi all,
In preparation for the teleconference next week to discuss the options available for an XML standard for IGS site logs, I encourage you to review the following documents and links which will provide a basis for our discussion:


1.       A White Paper recently circulated to GGOS representatives explaining the need for a metadata standard for global geodesy (attached)

2.       A document describing some background information about GeodesyML and why we are proposing it be used to encode site logs (attached)
