[IGS-DCWG-101] XML Site Log File: Additions for Streamed RTCM-Data

Dear all,

on behalf of BKG we would like to add to the discussion one general remark and another one referring to the RINEX3 generation from streamed data.


1)      RINEX 3.02 naming:

-          With regard to the IGS IC discussion, the sitelog-name should change from SSSS_YYYYMMDD.log to SSSSMRCCC_YYYYMMDD.log.

-          The FourCharacterId in the XML-sitelog should be accompanied by data representing the long station-names. It could be retrofitted by MonumentNumber, ReceiverNumber and ISO-Country-Code (maybe replacing country?) or accompanied/replaced by the full NineCharacterId.

2)      Additional Information for RINEX3.02 generation from streamed RTCM data:
               To generate complete RINEX3.02 files out of RTCM data streams additional information is needed (e.g. for the moment so-called skeleton files are used for this).  This could partly be placed into the sitelog.

-          All observation-types a receiver could possibly transmit should be included in the sitelog (for RINEX header line 'SYS/#/OBSTYPES').

-          As the data for RINEX header line 'COD/PHS/BIS' depends on the receiver, it could be part of the sitelog, updated according to receiver changes.

-          It would be useful to have the data for header line 'SYS/PHASE SHIFT' in the sitelog.

Otherwise to generate valid Rinex3.02 files from RTCM data these informations these informations would have to be part of the RTCM-stream.
