On Monday, May 17, 2021 at 16:00UT, NRCan will be performing a transition from our existing ftp servers, rtopsdata1.csrs.nrcan.gc.ca and rtopsdata2.geod.nrcan.gc.ca, ftp only, to new ftp servers: cacsa.nrcan.gc.ca and cacsb.nrcan.gc.ca,
ports ftp, http, https.

IMPORTANT- Only anonymous ftp connections will be allowed on NRCan’s new ftp servers, cacsa.nrcan.gc.ca and cacsb.nrcan.gc.ca.

On Monday, May 17, 2021 at 16:00UT the cacsa.nrcan.gc.ca and cacsb.nrcan.gc.ca ftp servers will become NRCan’s official GNSS archive. The cacsa.nrcan.gc.ca and cacsb.nrcan.gc.ca ftp servers are currently available for testing and we encourage
you to update your ftp processes to the new cacsa.nrcan.gc.ca and cacsb.nrcan.gc.ca ftp servers prior to or on this date. After Monday, May 17, 2021 at 16:00UT you may experience issues with your ftp processes if you continue to use NRCan’s older ftp servers,
rtopsdata1.csrs.nrcan.gc.ca and rtopsdata2.geod.nrcan.gc.ca. NRCan will be decommissioning the old ftp servers on May 31, 2021.

Below are a few command line examples for connecting to NRCan’s new ftp servers:

NRCan NTRIP Caster update: NRCan also hosts two NTRIP casters at xxx.xxx.225.70 and xxx.xxx.187.3. No changes are being made to these NTRIP casters. The caster at xxx.xxx.225.70 can now be reached at hostname rt.cacsa.nrcan.gc.ca and
the caster at xxx.xxx.187.3 can now be reached at hostname rt.cacsb.nrcan.gc.ca.
