OPMT is an old Astech Z12-T from a series which was built at the beginning of the geodetic activities in time and frequency metrology laboratories, from a design defined by University of Bern. Therefore, for consistent operation, and contrary to other Ashtech Z12-T types manufactured later, this unit requires a 1 PPS voltage slightly over the nowadays common 5 V TTL. This is why we cannot simply exchange the 1 PPS distributor, as the TTL level is not enough.
