<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">Our old Ashtech Z-XII-3-T receiver and its antenna were removed on 2017-07-28 after 13 years of operation.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">A new receiver Septentrio PolaRx5TR and a new antenna SEPCHOKE_B3E6 were installed on 2017-09-15.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">The new antenna is aligned above the WAB2 landmark with 0.1 mm accuracy. The new elevation is 1.3327 m.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">The WAB2 landmark is located on the roof of the METAS building. The antenna is mounted on a steel mast above the landmark.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">We now use a mounting device with micrometric screws that allows a precise optical alignment of the antenna vs the landmark.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">Note that before 2017-09-15 the previous Ashtech antenna was aligned by hand with an accuracy of about 1 cm and was positioned 5 cm lower.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">Moreover note that on 2016-05-10 the Ashtech antenna was dismounted temporarily to perform delay measurements and after remounting the antenna, a displacement of about 1 cm was observed with respect to the original position.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">We have updated the station log file and as soon as the new station log is approved we will start again to publish WAB2 data.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
