<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">We have upgraded the FALE station in
Samoa to use internet communications with a Trimble NetRS receiver and
Zepyhr Geodetic antenna. The change took place at 02:50 UT on 22
October 2010 (day 295). An updated site log has been sent to the
IGS. </font>
<br>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">From now, 30-second rinex data will
be uploaded hourly to IGS data centers. 1-second data is also
stored locally and can be downloaded in case of an event. </font>
<br>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">We operated a Trimble 5700/Zephyr Geodetic
on a nearby mark (~1.8 km baseline) for about 3 days before and 3 days
after the FALE exchange. These data may be useful for calibrating
any offset in the time series. The calibration data are available
on request. (The final 3 weeks of data, days 274-294, from the old
FALE receiver are not yet available in IGS data centers, but they should
be uploaded withiin the next couple of weeks.)</font>
