Their research portfolio covers the methodology of geodetic space techniques like GNSS, VLBI, SLR, satellite altimetry, DORIS and InSAR. Research excellence is demonstrated in one or more aspects of the entire process chain from sensor technology and geodetic data processing to applications like global reference systems, Earth rotation and geokinematics. The successful applicant will teach courses on geometric geodesy (Satellite Geodesy, Reference Systems, Geodetic Space Techniques) in the German BSc- and MSc-programs <i>Geodäsie & Geoinformatik</i> as well as in the international MSc-program <i>GEOENGINE</i>. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal style='text-align:justify'><span lang=EN-US><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal style='text-align:justify'><span lang=EN-US>The faculty is looking for an internationally renowned expert on the aforementioned research areas. Moreover, collaboration with academic and industrial partners outside the University of Stuttgart is highly desirable.
