<div><font class="Apple-style-span" face="Century,sans-serif">Natural hazards have been significant threats to society. GNSS have become primary sensors to measure the effects of natural hazards. GPS can be used to compute ionospheric TEC to measure and monitor
ionospheric effects caused by e.g., earthquakes, tsunamis, meteors or nuclear explosions. We solicit observational and modeling contributions to address practical benefits that can be realized in monitoring natural hazards using real-time and post-processed
ground-based and space-borne GPS observations as a tool. It is expected that ionospheric monitoring of TEC perturbations might become an integral part of natural hazards warning systems that could potentially save thousands of human lives and help reduce economic
damages.</font></div>
