<p class="MsoNormal" style="font-size: medium; "><o:p> </o:p>Rapid emergence of glacial isostatic adjustment (GIA) science in geodesy over the past 15 years has been promoted by great advancements in observations, both terrestrial and from space.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes"> 


</span>A new role for GIA geodesy is now embraced by hydrology and cryospheric sciences because the interpretation of global mass changes, as measured by GRACE, requires quite accurate maps of GIA.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes"> 


</span>This session invites contributions that address all types of observations of GIA, solid earth or ocean physics, and ice-sheet evolution constraints and/or models, that help illuminate more accurate predictions of GIA.</p>
